I have recently been accepted to study nursing. On my occupational health check it asked about mental health, so i stated that i have anxiety and depression but that I am on medication - i also added a note stating that it is under control and that it does not affect my ability to study or work. I now have an occupational health appointment with the nurse but I am so scared that theyre going to reject me from the course due to this? has anyone else been in this situation, I'm really scared, i wish i never disclosed it to them

They won't reject you for that. I also suffer from depression and anxiety but control it with prophylactic meds and will be studying Diagnostic Radiography in September. I was just asked how I felt in myself and if I was happy to pursue the course at the Occ Health interview. Its best to disclose it in case you have difficulties at any point during the course. They'll be able to respond quickly and put support in place to help.
