Can I swap my insurance choice for a course that's currently in the 'clearing 2016' list?

I have a conditional firm and insurance, but I want to swap my insurance to a course with the same entry requirements

Do I have to wait until results day?

If your firm choice is unconditional then you can't have an insurance place. You will be going to your unconditional automatically and would have to ask to be released into clearing to attend an insurance choice who would in turn have to accept you onto their course.

You can get rid of both choices, and then use Clearing when you have your results and hope the new uni accepts you.

Or you can keep your firm, get rid of your insurance, and then use Clearing if your firm doesn't accept you.

But you cannot swap the choices around like you want to.
