Is it possible to have a few spare days every month to go home and visit your friends and family. I guess you dont have to be on uni every single day ?

I know at some unis they have ' reading week ' where you don't have any lectures and you just have coursework to do or revision so during this time you could go and visit your family... unis have long christmas holidays and easter though so you could always come back home for this entire time if you wanted x
