    Hello,
I am planning to do GCSE and A-level exams next year in Northern Ireland and I have been trying to find a place that will take me on for the exams, but I haven't gotten any places yet. Can someone give me ideas as to what I can do?
What are all of the types of centres out there that accept private students?

I'd try and get in contact with local exam centres, and if you're not successful with that you could actually contact schools/sixth forms in your area and ask them if you could sit your exams there if you were willing to pay the required fees.

Any school or college that offers GCSE/A level exams to their own students is able to accept private candidates for exams. Many don't want the bother as private candidates can often be a pain. Contact all schools and colleges in your area and speak to the exams office. Find out if they take private candidates, which of your subjects they can offer from which examiners. You may not be able to find anywhere that offers your preferred choice. Many schools in NI use the CCEA examiner.
