    It's entirely dependant on the degree you apply for, if its vocational it will matter otherwise not so much if at all. It's always good for your CV though.

    If you're taking 2 gap years like me will they want volunteering? I plan to just play football and work in tesco

    As long as you do something productive with your gap years then i wouldnt worry about it unless the course is one that needs experience.
