How long does it take for PayPal payments to get cleared by your bank?

I'm with Lloyds TSB, and the clearing time for a cheque is 4 days, I think. Will it also be this time for PayPal?
I paid for an item on 5th July, and the PayPal status is completed. Though it hasn't shown up on my online bank statement yet.

Also, I'm under 18 and have used PayPal to pay for things on Ebay, is the bank likely to refuse to clear the payments as I'm not 18?

Takes 3-4 days to show up on your statement.

I recently made a withdrawal from PayPal and it showed up as completed on PayPal the next day. It didn't credit my account until about 5 working days later. Give it up to 7 working days and if it hasn't shown up contact PayPal.

ive got a Lloyds TSB account as well and it usually takes about 5 days to clear and show up on the statement

I'm with Lloyds too and always seems to take about 4/5 (working) days. It's about time all this stuff was instant!

Okay, so the payment goes through immediately, but takes 4/5 days to show up on the statement?
Or does the payment go through at the same time as the payment shows on the Lloyds statement?

Payment goes through immediately but takes 2 days or so to ask the bank for permission, they normaly accept if you've got the funds, then takes another 2-3 days for the payment to clear out of your account, hope i made that clear. :smile:

maybe contact PayPal and/or make a new thread. this one is long dead at 12 years old, i'm closing it. :smile:
