I couldn't make it to my own sixth form's induction day. So I'm wondering how much of an impact this will have. I'm convinced it wont be very much since all I will receive is lectures on how important sixth form life is which is just yr 11 all over again (sometimes it was emphasised more than gcse exams). Also since I did triple science and further maths gcse I don't think that my chosen subjects that took place on the days which I obviously didn't attend will have much of an effect (I'm taking all the sciences and maths for a levels and I was told first year is triple science all over again) and finally making friends should be easy enough during normal lessons in September since we have common ground and interest since we all chose that subject.

Thanks my TSR brothers and sisters

    it's not that deep

just like the person above said, it really isn't that deep. Like for my friends induction day they only had 35 minutes lessons and didn't really get the chance to make friends and socialise that much, so I don't think you would have missed out on much. They might have given homework, but I know that with my sixth form they also emailed it to you, just in case you couldn't make it.

Yeah not that important really, half the people I met on induction day weren't in any of my classes anyway :dontknow:

Nah I didn't go to mine, couldn't make it. Nobody mentioned it on the first day and it never set me back. You'll be grand
