Hey guys, so basically i messed up my first year exams and ended up with a 59 average (high 2:2). I am worried about getting a summer internship next year because of this. I study law at kcl and am interested in any banking/law/consultancy internship. I have done a spring week in IBD at goldman this year and have good extracurriculars. Just wondering will those things make up for the 59 or would i have no chance next year because of this. Does anyone knows people who got a 2:2 but got an internship nonetheless or got onto a grad scheme without an internship? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi! I am in the middle of my first year exams doing law and think I am going to find myself in the exact same position as you (I did work really hard I just panicked in my exams and know I have not done so well). I was just wondering how you got on in the end applying for second year internships and things? Looking towards law x
