    Other than Canada, that is?

After the disaster yesterday in Turkey (which my Turkish friends believe to be staged), it is inevitable that Erdogan will cease more power and spread conservatism throughout Turkey to a greater degree.

Right-wing parties seem to be gaining momentum in almost everywhere. Are we living in an increasingly intolerant world?

It is actually the left that is intolerant. You faster realise this will be less painfull for your. The right-wing will on other hand bring the necesary democratisation.

Countries move to the right when the populations feel that being on the left has somehow failed. And vice versa. It's cyclical.

The left are incredibly intolerant of anything that questions their deluded outlook on life. They are very narrow minded and seem to hold the belief that their views are worth more because they like to think they have the 'moral high ground'. In reality, they are bigots who cannot accept other opinions. I would argue that the USA and UK are and will continue to be the two most tolerant countries in the world, both are becoming more right-wing and conservative. It is the most inward looking, intolerant countries that are still left-wing.

This is coming from someone who makes excuses for anti-Muslim bigotry

The right-wing loves freedom of speech for those who agree with them, no one else. In what way are they more tolerant?

Evidence that the UK and the USA are the most tolerant countries in the world?

Most people only look too closely at the short term to see this

I assume you mean authoritarian rather than right.

    Italy and Greece possibly.

The image below describes the world we now live in in the West. We need our leadership to be more right wing.

I can provide you with evidence, unlike many leftists. Here is a map. It indicates the most racially tolerant countries (blue) to the least tolerant (red). You will notice that, with the exception of France, the countries becoming more right-wing (notably the UK & USA which you wanted evidence of) are the ones in blue, those with left-wing, socialist governments are in red.

And what are these stats based on? Posting pictures of a map proves nothing.

Not having a problem with your neighbour being of a different race does not automatically make you tolerant.

I gave you evidence and you have rejected it because it isn't what you want to hear. Classic leftist behaviour.

Classic right-winger, to produce any shoddy source to support his/her argument then insist that it is taken at face value.

Well that is a big assumption to call the right intolerant when it has been shown that plenty on the left are intolerant. I think the terms right and left are grosely outdated anyway because it doesnt account for individual social and economic beliefs

I see, so now I have produced the evidence that you requested (but did not expect), you have specified that it cannot be from a 'shoddy' source. Personally, I would hardly describe the Washington Post as 'shoddy', but you're the one making up the rules here. No doubt that if I had produced a map from the Daily Star that backed up your arguments, you wouldn't be too bothered about where it came from.

You posted a picture from a Washington Post article with no explanation as to where the stats come from. Not to mention that the picture stats that the conclusion was drawn from a sample of people saying they would or wouldn't mind if their neighbour was of a different ethnicity. If you're content with using something so vague to prove the prevalence of racism and bigotry worldwide then you are a lost cause.

Sure, a country with strict blasphemy laws is one of the most tolerant because some people don't mind having a non-Pakistani neighbour. Ridiculous.

Why would I ask you for a source to prove my argument to begin with? When I ask for evidence, I don't mean nonsense like this.

The left is imposing some authoritarian policies that are populary called SJWs. Calling everybody racist, cat calling= hate are among others.

On other habd tolerating muslim bigotry which is making it even hypocritical.

We're becoming more left wing now, the conservatives are moving to the centre left. If it wasn't for Cameron's austerity measures I would've said he occupied the centre left

I tolerate neither Islamist bigotry nor anti-Muslim bigotry. If that makes me an "SJW" then I am proud to be one.
