1) ONCE AGAIN, not even criticising the fun aspect, criticising the people using it as their main outlet to go outside fml.
2) Well I don't think I'll exactly have enough food supplies to start off with as soon as I get there, so I'd need money to buy food stuff beforehand...as one example... or don't you understand that fruit/veg take time to grow? I mean if you're one of these people who's only gone outside on account of Pokemon Go then that could be news with you. Once again I'm going to stress how extreme an example this is and how much you're missing the point.
3) "to live comfortably" and "to be happy" are not synonyms
4) I've insulted you once after you insulted me several times and you have continuously insulted me, so yes it does matter, as it shows how much of your 'argument' is just based on petty attacks

Omg look again with the petty insults sweetheart. Seriously come back when you got something to actually argue for, because right now all I'm seeing is ~nonsense, nonsense, nonsense ~addresses half a sentence~ ~nonsense insult~ from your posts.

I was unaware that having a debate (well trying to, considering your side seem to be just whining most of the time about how unfair my viewpoint is without actually defeating it) is taking offence. Interesting!

Chucking petty insults and shady comments is not criticism, you do realise that?

So what? What about the people that have no friends where you expect them to go? This at least motivates them to go outside as otherwise they wouldnt really have fun outdoors without any friends

Oh God don't me don't need his same worn-out argument to be repeated again O.o
Well, I don't exactly like Pokemon Go either, but I tend to just not complain and let people get on with it, and I just ignore them.
I downloaded the app but unfortunately i can't drive or have any modes of transportion so i couldn't play if i wanted to.
If people are having fun doing it, then whats the problem? For some people it reminds them of their childhood. Pokemon go was featured on Fox news and a grown man was playing it for that specific reason.

Couldn't you say watching tv or netflix is pointless? Isn't any form of entertainment pointless?

At least people are finding an excuse or reasons to leave their houses and explore landmarks. Not every person enjoys exercise . Some people need an extra boost to leave their houses and have fun doing it.
Ah the wise words of Solomon... It's true though, we all die anyway so we might aswell do whatever makes us happy as long as it isn't hurting others

Lmao someone's made a massive generalisation from 2 lines of text, you needa calm your knickers sweetie.

I don't read the daily mail and you have not even remotely challenged my comment. There have been so many people saying "omg thx to pokemon go i can now go out of the house and enjoy things xDD!" as if it was somehow impossible beforehand to do that. Requirng a game to get you outside the house is a ****ing disgrace on your lifestyle.

Indeed. He says it's a way for them to 'go out and explore the world' which is a joke. Walking around aimlessly staring at a screen is not 'exploring the world' and so far there have been quite a few incidents where people have nearly been hit by a vehicle due to how engrossed they have been in the game. Pokemon Go is far from being "a way for people to make new friends and socialise." but rather a way to almost control people.
Maybe their hobby is Pokemon Go. Why does it need to have a meaning?

But it actually is awful and people take it far too seriously.

This game is beginning to take control of people.
I bet the creator of this game has not got it installed on a single device, nor does he allow his children play it. He is too smart for that. They create meaningless and time-consuming games like this to busy us whilst the creator is the only one who is truly benefitting.
I think it's horrifying that many people are only prepared to go out for something virtual like Pokemon Go. It is a disgrace.

nobody's forcing you to play it dude

Yes, you are correct. It's just horrifying to see the extent to which people have become obsessed with a virtual game.

you mean the same thing that happened with pong, tetris, mario bros, the early pokemon games, crash bandicoot, spyro, halo, call of duty, fifa, the sims, and if we're including mobile games, candy crush? fruit ninja?

it's a video game dude, they come out all the time and they get popular, often to the point that you might consider it obsessed, but they're only as obsessed as people get with sports, working out, drinking, watching movies, cooking etc. it's called having a hobby that you're passionate about, you sound like you could use one

There's more to life than playing with virtual creatures. Hope this doesn't shock you!

If we're using that logic there's more to life than sitting on TSR telling people how they should live their lives, but here you (and we) are.
