    I am a 17 yr old boy who has been talking to a 15 yr old girl (I recently been told that she is 15 when she told me she was 16 ) Is me pursuing this relationship in the uk illegal or do i take her out of my life since i dont want to get into trouble?

    You cannot have sex until she is 16 as that is the legal age of consent. Here is a description of the relevant laws in the UK.

    Pursuing a relationship with her is absolutely fine though.

    Are you kidding? I have a 14 yr old friend who goes out with a 19 yr old. They ain't having sex, but it ain't paedophilia by a longshot. Besides, what'll be stopping you two anyway? As long as she turns 16 before you turn 18, there shouldn't be any problems wit you guys having sex.
