I'm doing an EPQ on history of art, and the way in which women have changed. I hope to look at women in pre-Raphaelite art (second half of the 19th century) in comparison to women in post-modern art. My problem is, how do I word the question?

My supervisor suggests that I word it 'To what extent...'

'To what extent has the portrayal of women changed since ...'

PLEASE HELP

Maybe it could be "To what extent has the portrayal of women changed between pre-Raphaelite art and post-modern art?"
