I dropped out of uni at the start of the second term and am thinking of reapplying is it worth going through clearing for September 2016 o should i wait until the start of the new academic year e.g. 2017. Although the ucas scoring system is changing I have BTECs so I don't think it affects me as much. Also i haven't finished paying the grants back so if anyone knows if that affects SLC funding i'd appreciate it,

Why did you drop out? Do you plan on studying the same subject at a different university? Personally, I think it would be a mistake to rush into clearing unless you are certain about what you want to study, and you're completely satisfied with the university. You only have one more chance; student finance won't fund you to start a degree again if you drop out a second time, you have to be 100% sure.

If you aren't sure, apply for the 2017 entry.
