    Hi everyone

I have just finished my GCSEs and now have to move on from my current school because it only goes to 16, but I have built a really strong relationships with my PE teachers, one in particular. I can't go into details but genuinely she has changed my life, and I know I am going to miss her so much next year. Do you think I can stay in contact with her and be in a way friends with her? I appreciate any advice/personal experiences xx

Has she given you any indication that she wants to have a friendship with you beyond the school?

It is time for you to spread your wings and fly. She will be just fine. Perhaps sending the odd letter / email to school letting her know how you are getting on is ok, but anything more than that could compromise her situation. Look forward and use the time she has given you to grow stronger.

    Good luck!

Well she's given me a thank you card which says like keep in contact and I look forward to hearing from you and things like that.

Perhaps you are over interpreting a simple Thank You card? It's likely that she is just being polite and wants to wish you well. Like others have said, you are young with your whole future ahead of you. Move on, enjoy your life and you will make other friendships with people your own age.
