For English speaking, I have to do a presentation and speech on a topic of my choice, a topic that can have arguments be debated over. I figured mental health has some stigma with it in society as it is not fully understood.
My main focus is anxiety disorders and Depression(including Bipolar Disorder as I believe it is a form of Depression). I've heard there are quite a few types of Depression. Which type of Depression should I focus on, like which one is more common and misunderstood? I'm also doing Bipolar too.
The presentation and speech has to be 5-7 minutes long. How do I get all my points across in that amount of time?
My main point is that mental health is misunderstood and the main question would be, "Should we be educated more on mental health in schools?".
I'd like some of you guys' opinions on this question, as this would help my Powerpoint presentation and speech as part of FEARRR (an English lesson thing you are taught if you have familiar with it, if not, it stands for
    F act and opinion
    E motive language
    A djectives
    R hetorical question
    R epetition
    R ule of 3 )

I would like to hear some stories from you guys if you wish to share them, about your experiences with anxiety disorders (Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety), Depression and Bipolar Disorder (Manic Depression). Stories in which you were misunderstand if you talked to family and friends about what you were going through. How did they react and what did they say? What Anxiety Disorders do you feel are the most misunderstood? I will talk about the most misunderstood anxiety disorders and Depression and Manic Depression to get my point across as I only have 5-7 minutes to say what I need to say. How many anxiety disorders should I talk about in that time?
To be clear, this is not a new topic to me as I have researched it and I know more than before. I am more educated on it.
One more thing, how do I be confident and feel confident doing the presentation and speech all on my own to my whole class(even though it's a small class)? As this is such a big topic to talk about. I am a shy person and I get nervous doing presentations, I usually dislike doing presentations.

You need to make sure that the focus of your speech is why/why not we should be more educated on mental health in schools, rather than trying to educate people on mental health. Instead, use these examples and surprising figures as reasons to support your argument, rather than basing the argument around stories about them
