Hi, I would like to apply for the LLB Law at university, probably at places within the AAB-ABB range (I think I'm capable). It is likely that my AS grades will be less than stunning (possibly something like BCD, possibly lower), and the school have told us that we won't be able to change our predicted grades by putting pressure on the teachers. So I might have to presume something like ABC, possibly ABB for predicted grades.

I realise that this is not ideal and that there clear risk of no offers, but I am going to apply for 2017 entry just to have a go and take a gap year if nothing comes up through application or clearing. Anyway, I was just wondering what advice you have on writing a really excellent personal statement for Law. What should you talk about?

(p.s. I won't have the chance to do work experience unless I take a gap year - long story).

    Thanks in advance.

Think about why you want to study the subject, what specifically interests you and why and what you've done to develop your interest in the subject. Remember that law is an academic subject and doesn't lead to a career as a lawyer.Try our PS builder (see my sig) to help collect your thoughts.
