Cambridge Economics Entry

Hey there. I was wondering if, apart from the personal statement and interview, whether I'd have to take any extra tests for pursuing an economics degree. You know, just like Math students have to take a STEP paper before entry? Oh, and any idea what the interview for economics would be like? lol

DO A SEARCH. theres too many threads on this part of the forum for this.

Briefly, no theres no test for entry, although some colleges will ask you to sit one they have devised themselves. the interview is technical. make sure you know the economics you have learnt, and you know it well.

u have to do TSA, like critical thinking. some colleges might make you do step apparently.further maths is quite desirable for some colleges.

there is a wonderful chart in the prospectus/website somewhere that explains what each of the college's requirements are regarding TSA/test at interview/essay ect.

You don't have to do it, it depends on the College. Clare for example (according to the website) just conduct an interview.

Having been through the process last year, Clare don't just conduct an interview. You are tested on an article they give you before one of the interviews. Don't be fooled into thinking what is put on the website is what they ask for!!
