Not trying to be a **** before anyone starts.
I worked in a pharmacy for about a year and I'm still not sure. The patient would hand in the prescription, it'd be passed back to the dispenser who got the medicines, I think the pharmacist would then check it before it was sent back out. Surely that's not the only thing they do? Trying to understand why it's a 5 year degree (same length as medicine) and not a standard 3 year one. This question applies to the ones who work in pharmacy stores like boots as opposed to those who work in industry.
