Hi, my course started in 2005 so I am eligible for a £1000 grant.

I applied for my loan a few weeks ago and forgot to apply for the grant so I emailed my LEA and they told me to fill in two PFF2 application forms and send them soon.

I wanted to ask, is it necessary to complete my mother's financial details because she only works part time and pays no tax? will this really make a difference to the amount of grant I receive?

I will be filling out my father's details because he gets taxed quite alot.

Thanks in advance

Yes your Mum should fill in her details. Sadly every little bit of money coming into your household counts if your parents are earning it.

If you don't declare your mum's income, technically it is fraud.

But they will ask you for it anyway if you supplied it last year. Read the notes that accompany the form. It tells you exactly what you have to put down.
