Well, I feel like having a tracking of my progress throughout fitness might be a good idea.

    Story:
I joined the gym a few years ago but ended up leaving and making excuses etc.
I joined back around 4months ago and the progress is going strong, I discovered Powerlifting and I have dreams to compete.

    Starting:
    Bench: 60kg
    Squat: 80kg
    Deadlift: 100kg

It's clear that from those lifts, the bench is my weakest by a long shot.
I'm currently running Candito's Strength Program.

My aspirations at the moment are to be in the best shape possible by BodyPower 2017 - April 2017

I find all the other blogs quite boring, so if you're reading this I'd appreciate a reply or a comment

    18/07/16 - Heavy Legs
    Squat: 55 x 10 followed by 57.5 x 3 x 5
    Deficit Deadlifts: 60 x 5 x 3 - Those squats made me weak :P
    Extensions: 35 x 12, 45 x 10, 55 x 8
    Curls: 35 x 12, 45 x 10, 55 x 8

Very short day. Squat volume always kills me.

Anyway, lets hope this is the start of something

Your bench is not weaker than your squat or deadlift, they'll all come up given time though.

Do you plan to compete there? I usually go.

No plans to compete, but it's just a nice set date I feel to be in the best shape because everyone else around me will be.

    19/07/16 - Volume Chest
    Bench: 40 x 10, 45 x 8, 55 x 5
    DB Press: 12 x 12, 14 x 10, 16 x 8
    + Accessories/Cables

Leg drive was impossible today after the squats yesterday, my legs are numb :P

What is your age, height and weight?

Your lifts are not unbalanced imo.

Only thing i would say is be realistic about what you can achieve in 10 months.
You can improve a lot and get much stronger.... I more than doubled most lifts if not more.
However, you aren't going to be big and shredded or strong af (depending on your goals).
Set realistic targets and you'll get them.

Insults every other blog... Cheers bud.
I doubt your blog will be particularly 'interesting'. It will contain details of your workouts with occasional comments from people once in a while (after the first few months).
    Seek respect, not attention bro.

    Anyway, good luck!

As you can see from the first post, I'm mainly into a powerlifting style, so getting 'big' isn't really a big deal for me.
Just trying to be the best I can possibly be.

Insulting every other blog is not what I did, I just feel that i'd rather peoples input on what I'm doing etc, rather than continuous posts from just me - I feel that they are boring to read without the comments and adaptations suggested by other users, thats why I'd rather have a large input of them.

    I'm also 17, 5" 6inches and 62kg - So essentially really small :P

    Ahhh ok.
Well you'll still gain significant muscle, tbh if most powerlifters cut they wouldn't look bad at all.

    Fair enough.
Well i think after a few months, it gets monotonous. Training is the same, you're on a long-term plan and you're are heading towards it. Not loads folk can say bar 'well done mate' etc.
However, i get what you mean. I like it too when others comment.

You're young then. Yeah, just very slowly bulk (half pound a week) then i'd say.
Get at least 100g of protein a day, above 120/130 is optimal. Track using myfitnesspal.

Get decent sleep. Make sure you have rest days.

Post vids of you doing B/S/D if you have any issues, people can critique form.

Research form, don't want to screw things up (You'll be fine for ages but once you double those lifts you'll need much better form. Injuries will probs happen but try and minimise them).

    Good luck!

Today was meant to be a back day, but they're quite fast and I'm quite busy tomorrow, so swapped them around.
    20/7/16 - Back off legs
    Squat: 57.5 x 10, 52.5 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 - This program is gonna kill me :P
    Sumo Deads: 50 x 5 x 2, 60 x 5, 80 x 1 - Meant to do deficits/pause but wanted to just go with light normal pulls
    Extensions
    Curls

    1M Run - 13kph

Quite a fun day honestly, light squats for volume and some sumo pulls, legs are dead though.

    Accessories
    Cables

    1/2KM Sprint - 15kph

    55 x 8 x 2
    .
    8 doubles or 2 eights?

Regardless, Thats hardly a bad performance if your max is 60 [and if its the latter I'd suggest theres more there]

I guess, I haven't been able to test my max in a fair bit, I might have some more in me as of recently.
    8 x 2 is 2 sets of 8.

I will say, my chest has never been so sore in my life from that.
