It's Summer and many of us are planning to go on holidays.
I, personally , have a really bad fear of flying. I get terrified during take-off, turbulence, while i am on the plane, etc.
Well and truly, flying is one of the things that makes me scared the most.
Any idea what i can do to cope ? I also find it very, very difficult to get sleep during flights and always assume the worst.
Does anyone else have a severe fear of flying ? Watch

Talk to your GP. They may be willing to give you a short course of diazepam. It may help with both your anxiety and sleep as well as being quite a pleasurable experience.

No one has died in an aeroplane accident from a british airline company since 1985 I believe. That's over 30 years.

I've been prescribed medication to help calm myself on flights before since I used to have panic attacks just thinking about flying. My first flight was horrific for myself but I found the meds didn't work... possibly therapy? It got better for myself by flying more often and understanding how the planes work.
