Hi, I've received my third choice accommodation of a mixed shared bathroom flat in tennis courts. I really wanted my first choice which was Mason and has en suites. After emailing accommodation services I've been told I can change from tennis courts to Mason but I'd be in an all girls flat. Which is better, a mixed flat at tennis courts, or a single sex flat but with an en suite at Mason? Is the stereotype true that often single sex girls flats usually for feminists and religious girls?

There might well be something to be said for the single sex. Mixed sounds great but might well bring more angst with living too close to someone you fancy the pants off - which either turns in to unrequited love or bitter recriminations. Single sex, at least for guys, comes with more camaraderie and the opposite sex tend to like to flock to that accommodation anyway.

Mixed. Single will either be full of religious people who have been forced to be gender segregated and will probably be incredibly boring.
