Hi, just been offered a job at fossil watch station based in house of Fraser and been told I should attended two induction days in Wolverhampton on the 1st and 2nd of August to introduce me to working at house of Fraser. Has anyone been to one of these induction events before? If so what does the day consist of, how long does it last, what's the dress code, and will I get paid for it?
    Thanks

Hi, I went to my HoF indiction in 2013 so I'm not sure how much they've changed things. You will be with a group of people who will also be starting the job. Dress smart but with comfortable flat shoes because you'll be on the shop floor, not interacting with customers but doing exercises and challenges. You'll also be doing some till training. They make you do these pointless icebreaker activities which are really boring. Make sure to get all relevant information about your shifts on the induction days. Lastly, you do get paid for it. I suggest you calculate the amount you should get paid for that pay period and note it down because they can make mistakes.
