    Hi guys,

I'm going into A2 next year and I'm taking physics, maths, biology and chemistry and I was wondering what are you guys doing to prepare for next year (whether that be AS or A2). I was going to sort out any problems I had in AS and solidify the content as well as get ahead and get prepared for next year.

Any suggestions or examples of what you're doing would be greatly appreciated!

You're better off relaxing. Hardly anyone does work over summer, and those that do finf that it didn't really help much.

If you still want to do a bit of work, don't bother lesrning AS contents again as it really won't help that much (although if you are on AQA Bio you must remember a few stuff from AS for the unit 5 scientific essays) so just start with A2.

I have 9 linear exams which rely on me knowing the content from AS and A2 hence why I'm trying to keep the AS stuff in my head

You'll pretty much just go over some stuff when you return back at sixth form. For Maths, most of the stuff are an extension from what you've learnt from AS. After learning the A2 content, all your AS exams will be much easier than you expected them to be.

Just don't spend too much time doing revision over the summer.

I'm only doing my A2 transition work at the moment. Once that's done by early August, I'll get started on reading textbooks and doing past papers.

I have just finished AS, studying History, English Literature, Government & Politics and Classical Civilisation.

Over the summer I will be getting a head start on my coursework by completing reading and setting out essay plans. I have coursework in History and English Literature.

I will also be trying to grasp the basic concepts of next year's materials with some reading and note taking.

Good luck with all of your studies next year!

I've just got to finish my EPQ for October..

If my AS results are good I won't do much preparation for the remaining weeks.
If they're not so good I'll definitely start work early

Not even doing remotely the same A Levels (I'm doing German & Philosophy, hopefully my Sociology A2 grade will be a B so I don't needa resit...) but atm for German I've been:

    - Going through the textbook and doing exercises and learning vocab I don't recognise.
    - Looking for advanced essay phrases and opinion phrases to learn
    - Going through example essay answers on the AQA website to see what I needa do to get the best marks.

    Philosophy - not much atm - but I'll be going through the actual spec and giving everything a brief look over. Will also do the same with the textbook when I buy it :}

I would like to do very well next year hence why im prepping during summer ha.
