Don't know if anybody's into BR, but their new album New Maps Of Hell comes out tomorrow

You can listen to the whole album on their myspace page:

Outstanding stuff - I really like the tracks New Dark Ages and Dearly Beloved, but most of it's damn good.

Anybody got any thoughts? Better than their last album?

BR Fanboy right here, heh.

Yeah, it's a neat album, takes a couple of listens before you get into it.

I'd say it's more of a sequel to TESF rather than a completely new album in its own right.

There are hints of the old-school BR too, which I rather like.

cant stand "before you die"

and also the wooooahoooooooooahhhhhhoahhhhhh song

apart from that good album
still annoys me how a reject of process (who we are) is better than all the songs on the past 2 albums though

I made a thread about this the other day, great album, pretty gritty looking cover, suits well.

To be honest I disagree about who we are ,The Defense, Epiphany and (the song) TESF are waaay better than it.

I did a review of it if you want to read, would be good to know what you think of it:

Anyone got a fave track from it yet? Personally I find myself playing Dearly Beloved in my head, but my fave is probably Prodigal Son or New Dark Ages

That's a great review - I think you've really got it right about Honest Goodbye

Only bad point would be that you only gave the album 4/5

Btw, I think Dearly Beloved is the most catchy/memorable song on the album.

Cheers for the feedback though, nice to hear I'm on track (no pun intended )

I agree about Dearly Beloved, great track.

They formed 27 years ago and he was a founding member, so you can kinda forgive him :p:
