I have been kept a place on the course until October. Registration only takes place once I have paid . I have been approved for a loan for November when the course starts. This means that I have to pay 1,400 pounds myself until the loan comes through. I have not got that kind of money available. Student finance says tell OU to send them my registration papers before I have paid and they will release the money earlier. OU said they cannot do that and suggested that I wait until next year to take the course. I can't be the only one with this problem. Is the OU the only university that needs payment upfront?
