    Hey there!

I am applying to study Pharmacology for 2008, and I was just wondering what kind of interview questions that you got asked? I found a post further back for PHARMACY students, but obviously there is a distinct difference between the 2 subjects and I was just wondering if that made any difference to the questions asked?

    Thank you in advance!

Really? Is this true? Obviously I can apply from Sept 1st onwards...so I hope they don't change it!

lol don't apply to a place just because they don't do any inerviews. Apply to places you would genuinely like to go to. Honestly, interviews aren't as bad as people think they are - most are informal, you're taken on a tour and have a 10 min chat with one of the academic staff.

I'm starting my first year pharmacology with physiology at Manchester in September. Had to go for the interview day which was more of a talk, tour and then a ten minute informal chat. I know another girl I met on the day was asked what current issues were going on in the world of pharmaceuticals, but I wasn't really asked any real interview type questions. I was told at the end of the chat that they were going to make me a conditional offer - it seemed as though they had already made the decision, I think it was more about them deciding how dificult the offer should be.
