I'm sure there are harp players at Cambridge. However, I don't think the university provides music lessons...maybe you could find a local teacher.

I'm a harpist at Cambridge, but unfortunately I don't have lessons there. The best people to contact would be the Cambridge Harp Association at http://stu.magd.cam.ac.uk/~cha/index.shtml.

Are you new to the instrument? Do you have your own harp? If you don't there is a music shop down Sussex Street, near the back of Waterstones that rents them out. They also might have an idea about teachers.

Good luck!

Not wanting to wreck any parties, but I really wouldn't rent from Millers/Ken Stevens - they're hugely overpriced and, broadly, don't know their stuff. It would be good to ask them about teachers though; I think they have a list so you could then ask them about getting hold of a harp.

Alternatively, go to Brian Jordan Music (by the back entrance of Borders). It's small and doesn't feel like the sort of place you should ask, but they basically know everything about classical music ever. I'd be surprised if they couldn't help you out.
