In September, I'm going to be a Year 12 student at the school I have been in since Year 7- I've always found it difficult to make friends however, since about Year 10, I've had a 'best friend'. But I recently feel like her and I are a bad pair, we don't really have anything in common and she usually makes me feel bad, which makes me question whether I should really be friends with her. I only really have one other person who I would consider a best friend, which is my boyfriend and he's going to be with his friends during the most part so I don't really have any once to hang around with at lunch or anything. Does anyone have any tips on how I could make friends and perhaps drift slowly away from my friend? Thank you

I carried on at myhighschool's sixthform but I didnt just want to be friends with the people I'd known for the last 5 years so from Day 1 I sought out as many new people in my classes etc. Who werent from my school And tried to get to know them whilst trying to hang out with as many different friend groyos as possible. You'll find the people you're most comfortable with eventually
