Special Support Grant - Advice Needed

I've been receiving Personal Independence payment for disability for the last six months. When I applied for my student finance it was suggested that I'm eligible for the Special Support Grant.

I have sent in my evidence for it and am interested to what extent (most likely) this will influence my finances. I currently receive the maximum grant and am interested to know how much money extra over the course of the year this will end up as being.

Obviously I know an estimate can't be absolutely precise, but any sort of indicator as to the amount extra I will receive would be appreciated.
You'd get the same amount of grant. But your loan won't be reduced.

Hey man, thanks for your response. I've only started been recognized as disabled this year. In my previous years I was receiving the maximum maintenance grant.

Are you able to provide me with a rough estimate of how better off I'll be? I'm studying a full time degree outside of London.

Cheers
