    it seems like it doesnt involve top universities.

    Compared to most other countries, the UK has a very low drop out rate. Maybe this is because the courses are usually shorter? (3 years.)

    I was an undergraduate at Cambridge and in my college I think there were 105 students in my year. Only one of them dropped out and that's the norm. Why would we drop out when we have worked so hard to get in?

    SOAS has a relatively high drop-out rate for first year undergraduates as well.
