Do you have to keep learning in your career? watch

    So I left education many years ago I now work in technology and I have to do alot of learning etc and its annoying, I want to escape the education n just do the job but I constantly have to read and watch videos and do training etc.. Is this with most careers?

    Well if there is something new in the industry then yes.

    An example, someone working in the legal field would know that some laws are likely to change due to high public cases.

    I studied health and social care at university and most of my former course mates are social workers, but they still have to train by studying courses part time on the job to keep up to date about changes in health law and social policies and how to effectively work with them in practice.

    In your case technology is a field of advanced changes for the future (better or worse?) for example we keep hearing rumours about these futuristic robots and hoverboards (the closest we have is an electric segway that could easily break your neck when you're a beginner user).

    pretty much all jobs are like that barring some of the very basic entry lvl jobs. its just that some jobs have more or less constant training.
