    Welcome Squad
    Long story short:
Met a fit guy from the Netherlands, and we fooled around on skype for a few months. during that time I became smitten with him, but then an unfortunate accident happened meaning I lost all ways of contacting him. Until I found an old iPod touch. I then found out he has linkedin. So should I try contact him, or should I leave him in the past?

Just contact him and say hi, he's not even going to think anything. As obvious as you think that you will be, you really aren't, us guys don't think much of anything :P
