Munich gunman 'had obvious Breivik link'

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36874497

"The gunman who killed nine people in Munich was obsessed with mass shootings and had an obvious link to Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik, German police say."

Just in, shocking stuff!

Oh yeah, Breivik would love a second generation muslim migrant.

The lengths people go to in order to avoid correctly ascribing blame is mad.

Who needs the police and security services with their advanced training, evidence and investigations when we've got armchair experts like yourself who know so much better?
Gotta agree with MildredMalone to an extent here, the guy didn't do it for some Jihadi cause, but trying to link him to the far right is reaching.

This needs to be a wake-up call for mental health issues.

It's time mental health started getting the same serious attention cancer and the likes gets.

the police did it, so they must know something more than the rest of us based on their investigation
Just a sad **** with a killing fetish they come in all shapes and sizes

Well the German police (who have an awful record on this) have not presented any evidence either. Did the killer subscribe to Breviks views or simply his style of attack. Key difference.
The same German police that covered up Cologne et al?

Its exactly the same when it comes to 'radical Islam', there's no difference between this guy and the average lone wolf who goes on a killing spree in the name of ISIS.

The only difference is the purported motive.

any police force would have pretty concrete evidence to say that there is an 'obvious link', and regardless, its still an ongoing, sensitive investigation - they aren't going to publish his diary or internet history or anything

Munich and Cologne have different police forces.

So what is the "obvious link" this Iranian immigrant had with Breivik? Aside from it happening on the same day? This is from the same country where people are locked up for expressing anti-refugee opinions and where the media refuse to give this shooter his full name and call him "David S".

Obviously its sensitive information which the police haven't yet disclosed.

I doubt the German police force would announce this based solely on the coincidental 5-year-anniversary.

Also he wasn't an immigrant.

that a muslim shooter would be inspired by a right wing activist? why so shocking?

Yeah sure. I don't buy it. It's propaganda, "link" implies they were both part of some right wing terror cell together. I'll bet the most they come up with is that he liked Breivik because he killed people, probably with a bunch of other killers, but they mention Breivik to take attention away from the fact he was a foreigner of Islamic background.

And he was a second generation immigrant, deal with it.

They are so zealous and determined to propagandize it's untrue. They'll have their open border and civlizational suicide, no 'evil bigot' will stop them from attaining it. We will have a caliphate, but one that supports equality for women and gays and diversity, right?

I see no difference whatsoever in a mass-shooter being inspired by ISIS or being inspired by Breivik. Lol.

And this guy was born in Germany, that makes him a German citizen. Lmfao

What should we blame here?

Do you understand the difference between ethnicity and citizenship? A 2nd gen non-European immigrant is not going to be a German nationalist.
In essence they are the same thing.
