How do I meet new people? I've finished Uni and moved to a new town, tried apps like meetup and City Socialiser, but I haven't met anyone i've clicked with at Meetup.

Nobody even turned up at City Socialiser's meet!

I go to a work gym where everyone keeps themselves to themselves. Any advice on how to meet new people?

A work gym? Are you sure there are no group classes/workouts in there? Otherwise you could just join your nearest running/cycling club

I lift weights and have my own routine so I don't go to the classes.

What are your hobbies? Maybe join an amateur sports team? Personally, I've found the easiest way of meeting people and making friends is through voluntary work - particularly heath/social care type work since that's where I've found the most genuine/kind people are. Another good thing is you local library - look for book clubs.

So yep sports/volunteering/library are good places to start. Good luck i know how hard it is x

Sorry to hear :/ try making friends through places like twitter or even TSR . I have managed to forge real life friendships through both of these. Chat to people about topics you like and you never know you might want to meet in person, and like others said volunteering might be a good thing.
