I've been registered to vote since I was of age but I've never voted and don't ever intend to. I don't believe my vote will make a difference and it's fixed anyway so what's the point? Is it even possible to take my name off the voting register? What will happen if I do?

Taking your name off the register is dumb.

It's not only used for voting but as proof of where you live for credit agency's for example.

Also you're right your vote doesn't count.... Because you don't vote.

You can remove it from the open register, but you can't remove yourself completely.

If you don't want to vote then just don't vote...

There is no point, really. Being registered doesn't mean you have to vote. It's better to be registered and to have the option, should you ever change your mind.

If OP is the kind who believes all elections are fixed then I doubt they'll be thinking of changing their mind any time soon.

True, but maybe they will grow out of conspiracy theories one day? We can only hope.

    Why is it fixed?

As said above just dont vote and ask to be removed from the open register.
