I was wondering if anyone had any info or insight for me. I am hoping to start university soon but I'm also desperate to get a job, save up and move out.
Can anyone give me any advice?

Could you afford to move out with your loan and a part time job?

If you are a UK resident have you used the student finance calculator to figure out your loan entitlement? If not do so:

(pick the correct one for your country)

    https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-calculator
    http://www.studentfinanceni.co.uk/po..._schema=PORTAL
    http://www.studentfinancewales.co.uk/calculator.aspx
    http://www.saas.gov.uk/how_to_apply/..._available.htm

how much is your entitlement estimate?

What universities are you hoping to go to?

have you researched the cost of living in those cities? (uni accommodations or private housing, food, transport etc).

Have you made a mock budget to give you an idea of how to manage your finances?

have you been applying to jobs? If not why not? If you have what jobs have you been applying to? You should be applying to anything and everything, even if it isn't something you want to do. Basically no one likes their first job, but you have to start somewhere and you can't be picky.
