Can I do a masters at Oxford despite going to a bad university for bachelors?
I am doing BSc geology and physical geography at the university of Brighton because I got BCCDb at a levels , although I have very good GSCE results (11 A's). There is a taught masters programme at Oxford I want to do which has 26 places and only 80 people apply. You can apply if you have a minimum of a very high 2:1 in any degree subject, I am currently on a first and its within my degree subject. Would I have a chance or will they laugh at my application, is it unwritten rule that you must go to a good uni to get in to Oxford?
No harm in applying, just make sure you have a solid application
