About to join PwC in two months and want to switch scheme

I'm about to join the assurance graduate scheme but want to switch to assurance & deals shared scheme. Is it possible in my first year? I wouldn't mind waiting until the next intake tho. Asked HR but they didn't say much apart from that usually nobody asks for a switch.
My two year plan is to switch to TS but I was wondering if switching to this scheme would be an easier option? And what should I do to make the switch as soon as possible? Thank you!
