So the rumour mill seems to be firing up again about the NX according to rumours Nintendo is using Nvidas tegra chip It's possible that it's it's as yet unannounced X2 chip (which would explain why the NX has still not been formally relieved) which while requiring less power would put the NX close to the PS4.

The new concept lighting up the internet is a hand held with a docking station to play on the TV and removable controllers which sounds a bit like the patents earlier in the year what do you chaps think.

As a mainly Nintendo only gamer (have to get my more serious racing fix elsewhere though), to me it sounds pretty good. This way Nintendo will be able to just focus on one system and potentially have a higher output of games if 3rd party developers don't get on board with the idea or the specs of the console aren't up to scratch as was partly the case with the Wii U. Being able to say take Pokemon and Zelda with you on the go, to carry on where you left off when you get home sounds good also.

Obviously for Nintendo and the NX it'd be better if it used the newer Tegra X2 chip as opposed to the X1, which I believe released in mid 2015? Then you have to wonder if they'll actually release some sort of dock like the supplemental computing device patent they've gotten recently to increase the power of it or if it'll simply be a dock to connect it to the TV (rather than just a HDMI cable connecting the two).

Obviously until we know for certain it could end up being something completely different though, Nintendo need to hurry up and show the NX to us.
