    Notes

The vote on this repeal bill will likely fall to political lines, there are lots of pages on the internet where the debate has been had with all sides clearly expressing a view, it is time the MHoC had a vote on the issue.

Why should it be repealed? There is no explanation in the notes at all as to why this should be repealed.

The absence of any further notes or justification is an instinctive nay.

No. With recent reports showing climate change getting worse, sometimes even worse than expected, we need more, global, measures put in place.

I welcome the opportunity to vote Nay to repeal of the Climate Change Act. In the UK most of the actions that we should undertake to mitigate the impact of climate change and stop it getting worse will also bring jobs to the UK, improve health, and reduce dependency on fuels from nasty unpleasant regimes such as Putin's Russia. Not only do UKIP seem to want to deny climate change, they are so mean as to want to stop aid to those developing countries who are affected even more by it.

Link to original bill would have been nice, as would at least some small justification.

In case you didn't "hear" the others, a link to the Act would be nice, along with a TL;DR, but probably aye.

The notes are terrible, and I suggest that the Speaker should probably have rejected this as insufficiently written. At least ****ing tell us what the 2008 Act does.
