I am a private candidate and intend to sit for the first time Maths IGCSE exams in October - November 2016 or January 2017. I am so confused as I don't know which exams I am going to book and what are they called. I've looked on CIE website and found multiple dates and codes which puzzled me even more. I have emailed Hiils road college in Cambridge and they emailed me back just a few words pointing at their website which unfortunately hasn't got the information I need.
Can please someone give me any information about what exams codes I can go for, I don't mind the boards, they are all the same. I just want to sit the IGCSE Maths in October or November this year. Thank you

Only CIE do IGCSE maths in November ( Edexcel is in Jnauary) You can do GCSE maths in November if it is a resit or you are over 16. If you are doing CIE maths then the entry code is 0580 and either core ( highest grade possible is C) or extended ( highest A*).
