I am a UK resident studying Mathematics at a UK University.

I was wondering how I could become a teacher in the US. Would I take the PGCEcourse here and be allowed to teach in America or do they have some other sort of qualification I would need.

    Any advice is appreciated.

IIRC, most teachers will have a teacher's diploma. If you really want security though, a BEd is a much better choice.

What universities are the best or are they all the same for a teaching course?
And could you provide some websites please.

I would assume all similar, but I'm not in the teaching field.
