Hey, this is my first post here and I'm looking for some help. I've applied and accepted an offer for a course. I have completed my BTEC and know I have enough UCAS points to get in - I have even picked up my certificates - so how come my UCAS track hasn't said I'm in? What am I doing wrong/missing?

Also, I have no idea about pretty much everything to do with the whole freshers week deal. I've been all over google and I'm still totally defeated by it all. Do I need to buy a ticket? To do so, do I need to know my student ID, and if so, how do I find it?

I'd appreciate any and all help because I'm absolutely stumped and stressing out about this a bit.

    Cheers all

The first thing to do is to contact UCAS and find out why your results and track haven't updated and if there't anything you need to do. Different unis will do fresher's differently but usually there are a number of different free or ticketed events on and you go to what you want. You should start to get info closer to the time and join whatever relevant facebook groups you can.

    HI,
I can certainly look at your application for you. Please can you send me a private message containing your full name, UCAS id number and date of birth?

    Hi Matt,

Everything you need to know about Fresher's Week can be found on our ARU Student Union's Website.
    The web address is: https://www.angliastudent.com/freshers/

I believe you don't need a ticket, just turn up and get your hands on all the free stuff we have on offer!

    Hope this helps

    Charlie
