I know that Sainsbury's does that scheme where you can work part time at a branch near your university, and when you come home in the holidays, you are automatically able to work at a branch near home.

I think it would be a cool idea to start working at my home branch now and be guaranteed a place at a branch near my uni.

So do other supermarkets also do this kind of thing? If so, what are they?

Practically every supermarket does. I know for definite that Tesco, Waitrose and Lidl do, but I'm sure that other supermarkets do too. Other stores like Primark offer transfers as well.

Lots of the big chain stores allow for transfers.
