    She just suffered a relapse of it, due to the skin irritation presumably. Herpes can't be cured permanently, the virus just lays dormant in the system.

    Most salons do give warnings though for people if they have diabetes (the one I go to has a sign up saying you must notify them of any medical conditions), so surely she should have known not to do it

    Clearly that woman is a little stupid, surely she should have learnt her lesson the first time. And it does say that she "poorly controlled" her diabetes

    That's good to know - I'm diabetic and always wondered why wax strips said 'not suitable for diabetics'. I'll definitely be sticking to careful shaving I think!
