    Hi everyone,

I am 17 years old and have completed the AAT level 3 diploma in Accounting which gives you 160 UCAS points and i am planning to go uni when i am 18.

But, of course you need around 240 - 320 points to get onto the Accounting and Finance degree at MMU. So for the next year I will study the BTEC 90 credit diploma in business which will put my points up to 280 - 300.

Would MMU accept me with these qualifications?

    Thank you in advance

Nobody here can answer this, you need to email the MMU admissions tutor and ask them.

    Hi,

Thank you for your interest in MMU.

With your AAT level 3 diploma you would be eligible to apply for our BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance with Foundation Year, providing you have GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths.

Alternatively you can study the BTEC 90 credit diploma and use this alongside your AAT level 3 to apply for Year 1 entry on to the BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance. Please note that with 90 credit diplomas we only take the UCAS points from the first grade, so in order to meet the minimum UCAS points of 260 you would need to obtain a DM or higher in your 90 credit diploma.

    I hope this helps

    Best wishes,

    Rebecca
