So I'm awaiting my A2 results currently and I have an issue. My choices are, Firm: Business Information Technology at Queen's Belfast and my insurance is Buisness Information systems at Magee UU in Derry. I need ABB for Queens and 280 UCAS points for Derry. My problem is that I now don't want to go to Derry. I can withdraw the application and just have Queens as my choice but I don't know it's like I'm afraid to incase I regret it or something. I've always wanted to go to Belfast as a young kid and I'm from there but moved away and I can't see myself anywhere else. It just feels too far away for me. Like id rather go to England or Scotland than Derry. I know it's up to me but if on results day I didn't get queens but got Magee, could I don't and say I don't want to go? I really don't want to miss out on good clearing spaces if need be. I feel my exam went better than expected so I'm just preparing incase. Thanks

Yes, on results day, if you miss your firm and get accepted to your insurance, you'll be able to call up your insurance and say that you don't want to go. You'll then be withdrawn from your insurance choice and able to go into UCAS Clearing.
