    Can someone explain how winning the Olympics works?! The points system and stuff. Is it literally just adding up the most medals?

    A country doesn't officially win the overall Olympics, but by convention it's ranked by the number of Gold medals, and then Silver to tie-break, and then Bronze.

    So if a country only wins a Gold and nothing else, it comes above all other countries without any Golds, even if some other country won 10 Silvers...
