Hey could someone pls help me with this question its been bugging me for a while now and i just hate physical chemistry

1g of calcium is reacted with excess fluorine gas in a calorimeter with a heat capacity of 1 kj K^-1 causing the temperature to rise from 25C to 28C

calculate the enthalpy of formation at 298K

I'm not sure if it's most effective to perform the calculations for you (unless you've already made an attempt and haven't managed to make any headway), could you tell us what you've been able to pick out from the question?

I'll post a worked solution on the thread afterwards if you're still stuck.

I am completely mind boggled by this question, theres 3 parts to the question the first being write a balanced equation which I've done this is the 2nd and the 3rd is to do a Born-Haber cycle which I've done, i don't know why this question is giving me so much trouble.
